Preparation of the Phone Interview

My name is Jerry. I have over 8 years of experience in the warehouse & logistic industry in Taiwan. My first career that is related to warehousing is as a warehouse assistant with lativ company. I was in charge of processing daily orders and unpacking shipping containers. I worked with them for over 3 years. After that, I went to Australia on a working holiday for a year. (All of my work on working holiday was related to agriculture, like harvesting fruits or packing vegetables) When I came back to Taiwan, I went on to be Warehouse Storeperson for HCT company. I was responsible for inventory management and Carrying out tasks with high-reach forklift. I was in that job for 4 years. Then I worked for the LF company for about 1.5 years. My duties in that company include delivery arrangement, operating high-reach forklift ,and operating RF scanner to pick orders. Besides, I’ve obtained the Australian High Risk Work Licence. I have the skills and qualities to match the job desrciption. Outside of work I keep myself fit and active. I will go to the gym or hiking in my free time.

2. (Accomplishment)What is the biggest accomplishment from these jobs?

When I was still working at HCT company, our team simplified the workflow for picking and packing orders. We optimized every step of the work. Then we saw a 12% increase in Order fulfillment rate.

3-1. (Weakness)What is your biggest weakness?

I think I’m good at planning. My motto is “working smarter rather than harder”. When we were going to process the daily orders, the supervisor would discuss the process with me. Then we tried and got very good results, we saved a lot of effort and manpower.

  • Like I said, I was in charge of (forklift) for (8) years. I can hit the ground running. I know a great deal about (warehousing). So based on all that, I think this position is right up my alley and I have a lot to offer to your company.
